A close friend of mine who as I mentioned to her more recently is always supporting life (cause and effect), is backing and reaching out for support with yet another worthy cause “CLIMB TO THE TOP”. Climb to the Top is a unique stair climbing event that raises funds to help more than 10,000 New York City, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan and Westchester residents affected by multiple sclerosis (MS) everyday.
Multiple sclerosis (MS), a disease of the central nervous system has no known cause or cure. Having this disease consists of varied symptoms: blurred vision, laps of memory and severe bouts of vertigo enabling you to keep your balance; interfering with the simple task of walking or climbing stairs and in severe cases can be life threatening. The symptoms of MS are different for everyone - the only certainty is that it will affect yet another person every hour of every day.
This subject is personal to me, my baby brother a 24yrear old father suffers from MS for the past 5yrs now; although it is not a completely debilitating disease it is definitely a life changing diagnosis that for young adults comes across more psychological in stunting social growth that can be seeded by the insecurity of self and learning to live life all over again. With no known cause or cure is just the cap of a very frustrating life diagnosis.
Let's keep the spirit of giving going into the New Year. Thanks for taking the time to read this and any contributions will be greatly appreciated. Below is a link with more information on the charity event and instructions on how to donate.
Thank you's and dedication to: Ms. Checo and Jah (Love you both)
